The Barnyard Olympics are alive and well in Porter County! Watch as each barn sends a crew of their own out into the arena to compete against other teams in a variety of exciting and funny games.

Watch as retired school buses make daredevil twists and turns around a figure 8 mud track. There is sure to be some close calls as drivers race to win. You may even witness a school bus on two wheels! Bring family and friends because it’s sure to be a wild ride!
If you haven't stuffed donuts in your mouth under a time constraint, then you haven't lived! It's no wonder then that we have no problem finding people who want to compete to see who can eat the most donuts in one sitting. Join in on the eating fun if you want to beat last year's donut-eating champion.
10 participants per age group:
8-12 years old (3-minute time limit)
13-16 years old (3-minute time limit)
17-19 years old (3-minute time limit)
20 and up (extra-space, 3-minute time limit)
Watch and smell as talented 4-H BBQ Chefs leave it all out on the grill!
Experience an evening of destruction, as vehicles crash into one another to see who can outlast the other. Events include – Regular Demolition Derby (Cars), Trucks and Vans, Figure 8, and Kids Power Wheels. There will be lots of noise and smoke at this night of destruction. View as a spectator or bring your car or truck and compete. Registration is allowed the day of show.
As the fair begins to wind down for the year, see the culmination of the livestock shows as they go to market. Support 4-H livestock project members and walk away with the nicest groceries you'll have all year! Special thank to Kraft Auction Service for volunteering their staff and auctioneers for this event.

Super Show Promotions presents a Tractor/Truck Pull Competition that’s sure to entertain the whole family! See three classes of tractors and two classes of trucks duke it out to see who has the most powerful motor at the fair.
Porter County’s cutest babies will strut their stuff on the Park Place Pavillion stage, with our judges having the toughest job in all the county: picking out the cutest kid of 2024!

4-H’ers put their engineering skills to the test! Registered members designed and built bridges working with the same provided materials and guidelines. The entries are judged on the quality of craftsmanship, sound structural design, and originality.
The best of the baking best are put up for sale during the 4-H Foods auction! Join us in the Park Place Pavillion to support the up and coming bakers in Porter County! Proceeds benefit the John Keller Memorial Scholarship. Special thanks to Kraft Auction Services for serving as our volunteer Auctioneer.
Who doesn't love a good, ol'fashioned apple-eating contest? Join in on the eating fun if you want to be this year's candy apple-eating champion. Register at the Fair Office.

This year, the contest will be held prior to the Fair's start in the beautiful, air-conditioned Expo Center on the fairgrounds.
