Individuals with special needs and a companion are invited to ride the carnival rides for FREE from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in a sensory-friendly environment where the lights will be dimmed and sound reduced.
Important Information
Fill out the form below to register for Special Needs Day free carnival wristbands for a person with special needs and their caregiver. Registration is REQUIRED in order to receive Special Needs Day carnival wristbands.
Caregivers MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS OLD. There should be one caregiver for each person with special needs.
Free carnival wristbands will ONLY be issued to persons with special needs and their one caregiver to ride for FREE from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
After you submit the form below, each person(s) with special needs and their caregiver needs to check in and pick up your carnival wristbands from the Carnival Office Tent anytime after 12:00 PM on Special Needs Day, Tuesday, July 23.
If the person with special needs and their party just want to visit the fair and are not interested in carnival rides, then you do not need Special Needs Day carnival wristbands and no registration is required. You also do not need to check in with the Fair Office. Just come on into the fair and enjoy your time!
Admission to the Fair is FREE before 12:00 PM, otherwise you will need to pay for general admission. General admission is $10.00 per person. Children under 10 years old are always free.
Parking is always FREE on the fairgrounds all 10 days of the fair. Please note that handicapped parking is limited and may not be available.
NOT ALL RIDES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. Special Needs carnival wristbands will only apply to specific rides. Rides that are appropriate for persons with special needs will be clearly marked.
If the person with special needs or someone in their party wants to ride a ride that is not included with the Special Needs carnival wristband, and the caregiver approves, you may purchase tickets to ride that ride. The caregiver assumes all liability for persons within their party.
No free food or drinks are provided for Special Needs Day, but you can purchase food on the Midway or bring your own food and eat on the picnic tables provided throughout the fairgrounds.
